Hey folks: exploring new frontiers in self-promotion I thought I’d put together this handy little list of all my upcoming shows in April. 3/04 – ALTERNATIVE UNIVERSE w/SCOTT CAPURRO & DAVID MILLS

So, Scott and I grabbed Tuesday nights at the Comedy Café / Bedroom Bar and have turned it into our own little therapy session. We banter and bitch at the top of the show and introduce our favourite stand-ups from the circuit. Intimate and spontaneous stand-up for just £5.
7/04 – EDINBURGH PREVIEW: DAVID MILLS IS SMART CASUAL
@ Hen & Chickens Theatre Bar
I’m doing a preview of my first Edinburgh solo show and you’re invited. I’ll be posing and pontificating on pop culture, politics and more. Part TED lecture, part barroom rant. Watch as I feel the spirit and speak in tongues! Also the very funny ANDREW DOYLE will be doing his preview on the same night!
8/04 – EDINBURGH PREVIEW: DAVID MILLS IS SMART CASUAL

On Easter Sunday? Well, yes. Just to explain – I’m taking my first solo show to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August. It’s the biggest arts festival in the world so in order to stand out my show needs to rock. That’s why I’m doing previews in April. Also Our Lord and Saviour is Risen. Best of all, Blackpool carouser Gary John Senior will be bringing ten minutes of gold to kick it off.

12/04 – MOUTHING OFF WITH DAVID MILLS AND MYRA DUBOIS

Showgirl / barmaid MYRA DUBOIS and I are throwing a piss-up, punch-up cabaret down in a grotty gay bar South of the river. Expect witty banter and songs as we rip off JUDY GARLAND SHOW numbers found on YouTube. Sounds promising. Wolverhampton’s own FRANCES BARBER will be in the house along with CLAYTON LITTLEWOOD, Soho’s own ‘dirty white boy’ and celebrated author.
14/04 – CAMP!
@ The Roundhouse
SCOTTEE, impresario of the underground, has pulled together a fantastic roster of camp entertainers to show off in the most theatrical style. An evening of wit and venom dressed up as light entertainment. Click the link, the line-up is epic.

I go up-market for my monthly cabaret / chat show at the glamorous Hospital Club in Covent Garden. A few choice numbers, a boozy anecdote or two, a hilarious turn from MYRA DUBOIS and then ‘on the couch with’ Carry On Screaming star FENELLA FIELDING! CAN.NOT.WAIT!
24 – 28/04 SCOTT CAPURRO’S POSITION w/SECOND BANANA DAVID MILLS

Scott and I return to the most glamorous basement in London for another run of our five star chat show. What that you say? Another chat show hosted by gays? Point taken but I think when you see our guest list you’ll see what makes this show different. Sharp and hilarious chat with the influential, inimitable and infamous. Plus great musical guests.
